In 2008, the government of Bihar founded Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. The varsity is located at Gyan Parisar, Mithapur. The distance of the university from Patna Junction railway station is 3.4km, while the distance from the Mithapur bus stand is 600m. Students can reach the university using the public transport.
